SCI Group was engaged by esteemed client Merivale to deliver the de-fit, make-good, and refurbishment of three floors at 71 York Street in Sydney’s CBD. Works included demolition, electrical and fire services, floor coverings, and painting, all carried out within a live environment.

The scope ranged from the removal of ceiling grids, glazed partitions, floor coverings, and redundant services, through to upgrades of fire safety systems and electrical reticulation. New finishes included carpet tiles across multiple floors, vinyl planks to kitchen and breakout areas, and base-build painting throughout. Completed with minimal disruption and to a high standard, the project reflects SCI Group’s capability in managing complex CBD refurbishments for high-profile clients.
